Project 1901: Apartment building in Westendorf, Tyrol

This heat pump replaces an old gas heating system in a single-family home. By intelligently connecting the solar power system to the heat pump, excess electrical power is used to heat the storage tanks and the building.

Instead of the old oil-fired boiler, an EU13L now heats this single-family home in Westendorf, Tyrol.

In this existing building, the propane heating system was removed and replaced with a modern heat pump system.

In this multi-unit building, heating and hot water will be provided in the future by an environmentally friendly air-to-water heat pump instead of fossil fuel oil.

One of the first field test units is located in Westendorf, Tyrol. At this farmhouse, which has a total living area of 450 square meters and five residential units, the oil-fired boiler was replaced with an EU13L air-to-water heat pump.

Instead of the old oil-fired boiler, this single-family home in Thiersee is now heated by an EU08L. Previously, 1,000 liters of heating oil were used annually for space heating. By connecting it to the photovoltaic system with an energy storage unit, the building can now be heated largely at no cost.

"Out with the oil, in with the heat pump" was the motto for this heating system upgrade. With the EU13L, heating costs were reduced by 60%.

This new building, with approximately 250 square meters of living space, is powered by an EU13L system. Hot water is produced hygienically via a fresh water system. Combined with the “PV fence” and an electrical energy storage system, energy costs are reduced to a minimum.

Two years ago, the customer chose the Lambda EU13L to provide his 1964 home with efficient, eco-friendly, and future-proof heating and hot water. This comprehensive review reflects the performance and efficiency of LAMBDA heat pumps.

In 2023, a modern apartment building with three units and a total living area of 519 m² was built in Heilbronn. For Dipl.-Ing. Johannes Ehnes, one thing was clear from the start: a heat pump would handle all heating and hot water needs—energy-efficient, durable, and future-proof.

Our customer, Sem Valentini, is already entering his fifth heating season—convinced by the technology and the independence it offers him.

In the Oberwart district of southern Burgenland, the Reiss family decided to switch to a LAMBDA heat pump. Since 2022, their home, built in 1948, has been heated efficiently and environmentally friendly using renewable energy. Despite using traditional radiators as the distribution system, the system impresses with its high efficiency and reliable operation.

The history of the Landgasthaus zur Quelle in Seeshaupt is a testament to tradition and innovation. Originally known as a post station and beer hall, the building has become an integral part of the village landscape since the early 20th century.
