One of the first field test units is located in Westendorf, Tyrol. In this farmhouse, which has a total living area of 450 m² and five residential units, the oil boiler was replaced with an EU13L air-to-water heat pump. Thanks to a photovoltaic system combined with a large buffer storage tank and an on-site small hydroelectric power plant, the home can generate a large portion of its own electricity.
