Christmas in the Spirit of Community: Support for “Step by Step” Instead of Gifts

This year, we at LAMBDA have decided to celebrate the holiday season in the spirit of community and compassion. Instead of giving out gifts, we want to make a lasting impact and are supporting the nonprofit organization “Schritt für Schritt” with a donation of 10,000 euros.
The nonprofit organization supports children and adolescents with developmental delays and disabilities on their journey toward the greatest possible independence. Through a holistic support program, the children are helped to better manage their daily lives and make progress—always with joy and motivation at the center. The organization’s unique location on a farm in our neighboring town of Schwoich enables animal-assisted therapies and nature experiences that meaningfully complement traditional approaches such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. The goal is not only to provide therapeutic support for the children but also to assist them in everyday situations that are crucial for leading a self-determined life. The children attend regular sessions lasting several hours, during which they not only receive therapeutic care but also learn everyday skills through play. Whether during lunch together, getting dressed, or in therapy—joy is always the priority, because only then can long-term progress be achieved.
With our donation, we want to help ensure that this valuable work can continue and that families in Tyrol receive the support they so desperately need. We are proud to support an organization like “Schritt für Schritt,” which is so committed to the well-being of children and their families. Together, we can do our small part to make life easier for these children and their families.

We wish everyone a peaceful holiday season filled with joy and togetherness, and a happy New Year.
