LAMBDA Heat Pumps Takes Second Place at the 2024 Austrian Leading Companies Award Tyrol

The Tyrolean company LAMBDA Wärmepumpen was awarded second place in the “Large Companies” category at the Austrian Leading Companies Award Tyrol 2024, just five years after its founding, thereby confirming its outstanding position in the industry. Based in Kirchbichl, LAMBDA Wärmepumpen focuses on technological innovation, maximum energy efficiency, and sustainability.
For over two decades, the Austrian Leading Companies Award (ALC) has been one of the most prestigious accolades for Austrian companies. The award is presented by the daily newspaper Die Presse in collaboration with PwC Austria and KSV1870. The ALC Tyrol honors the state’s top companies that stand out for their sustainable growth, economic stability, and innovative business models. With its 2nd place finish in the “Large Companies” category, LAMBDA ranks among Austria’s leading businesses.
A key element of LAMBDA’s technology is the use of the environmentally friendly refrigerant R290 (propane), which contributes to a low environmental impact. In addition, thanks to the proprietary 3K process, energy consumption is reduced by up to 26%—a significant contribution to CO₂ reduction, increased efficiency, and lower electricity costs for customers.
“This award is a testament to our fantastic team,” emphasizes Managing Director Florian Fuchs. “Our success is based on strong teamwork, a passion for technology, and a spirit of innovation.” Florian Entleitner adds: “Innovations like the 3K process and the use of R290 make us a pioneer in sustainability. Our goal is to offer technology at the highest level that is both efficient and environmentally friendly.”
In addition to innovative technology, the careful use of resources also plays a central role. LAMBDA manufactures locally in Tyrol, relies on short supply chains, and reduces emissions through digital solutions such as its own remote maintenance and optimized operation of LAMBDA heat pumps.
