LAMBDA Heat Pumps Wins Tyrolean Climate Protection Award

LAMBDA Wärmepumpen GmbH, based in Kirchbichl, was awarded the first Tyrolean Climate Protection Prize in the Business category. The award ceremony took place last week in Studio 3 at ORF Tirol. This award recognizes the company for its outstanding achievements in the field of sustainable energy technologies.
LAMBDA Wärmepumpen’s award-winning “Eureka Series” stands out for its highly efficient conversion of electricity and ambient heat into usable heat. This technology enables expanded use of heat pumps, particularly in building renovations. In addition, the natural refrigerant propane is used, which has a carbon footprint 1,000 times smaller than that of traditional synthetic refrigerants. This underscores the potential for “green jobs” in Tyrol.
Florian Fuchs and Florian Entleitner, managing directors of LAMBDA Wärmepumpen GmbH, expressed their delight at the award:
“This recognition validates our approach to developing innovative and sustainable solutions for the energy transition. We would like to thank our dedicated team and our partners who made this success possible.”
The Tyrolean Climate Protection Award honors projects and initiatives that make a significant contribution to climate protection. Winners are permitted to use the official designation “Awarded the Tyrolean Climate Protection Award” as well as the accompanying logo.
