Planning to install a heat pump in 2026? Here are the incentives available in Austria

Switch to our LAMBDA heat pump today—and secure up to €15,825 through lucrative federal grants combined with applicable state incentives!
As part of the federal “Boiler Replacement 2026” subsidy program, the replacement of old fossil fuel heating systems with modern, climate-friendly heating solutions—such as our LAMBDA heat pump—is supported with a subsidy of €7,500.00.
Eligibility Requirements for Heat Pumps
To qualify for the subsidy, the heat pump must:
- Use a refrigerant with a GWP ≤ 150
- Meet all EHPA quality seal criteria
All LAMBDA heat pumps fully meet these requirements.
Our heat pumps are therefore fully eligible for subsidies and comply with the highest efficiency and environmental standards. Our specialist partners are authorized installation companies and provide support for professional installation (self-installations are excluded from the subsidy).
Who is eligible for funding?
Individuals who own a single-family home, a two-family home, or a townhouse and who replace their existing oil, gas, or coal heating system or their electric storage heater with a renewable heating system.
- Valid for all systems installed on or after October 3, 2025.
- Applications may be submitted until December 31, 2026 (or while funds are available) –> Check available funding here
Here's how it works:
- Register online at sanierungsoffensive.gv.at – this secures your funding for 9 months.
- Install heat pumps and submit your application—after the work is completed, including all invoices—within 9 months.
- Receive the subsidy – following review by Kommunal Kredit Public Consulting (KPC) and approval by the Federal Ministry.
Federal subsidy of up to EUR 7,500.00 for air-to-water heat pumps.
Tip: The federal grant can be combined with state grants – for even greater financial support.
